Jean began showcasing his talented skills in acting at a very young age. His television debut was in 2004 on the ABC series Kyle XY as Josh Trager. In the same year, he was among the cast of the Ill-fated movie portraying the role of young Bobby.  His amazing acting skills enabled him to land another in the movie Trick ‘r Treat in 2007 portraying the character of Scharder. The Baby Daddy production schedule had to be rearranged following Jean’s freak accidental Halloween fire accident. His costume caught fire after he got quite close to an open flame and ended up bearing burns to his arms and legs. His Halloween costumes are said to be one of the reasons he caught the fire because they are highly flammable. Jean got treated where his arm was heavily bandaged and has since made a full recovery. This led to a caution to all stars to be careful especially when having Halloween scenes and mostly those that involve fire.
